Sandra Bullock divorces and adopts

Sandra Bullock shocked the world this week by announcing she is divorcing her cheating husband but that in the meantime she has adopted a baby boy.

Seems the Blind Side star and her husband Jesse James had been jointly adopting but with all the fuss over his cheating ways, Sandra is now going it solely with the baby.

Bullock annonced via People Magazine that she has been in hiding to protect her newborn’s privacy.

The divorce was set in motion by opening a case filed under Sandra’s initials (backwards and Jesse’s initials. The document was filed April 23.

As for grounds of divorce, the petition says, “The marriage between Petitioner and Respondent has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectations of reconciliation.”

The document apparently stated that “There is no child under eighteen years of age or otherwise entitled to support who was born or adopted of this marriage and none is expected.”

Sandra has also made it clear she intends to continue to be a part of her step kids’ lives.
