Lindsay Lohan going to jail and rehab

Lindsay Lohan is going to jail for violating her DUI probation. After Judge Marsha Revel heard testimony from the alcohol ed people admitting Lindsay violated the judge’s command to attend classes at least once a week, the judge sentenced her to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab.

After Meyers argued that not only did Lindsay repeatedly violated probation by not attending alcohol ed classes at regular intervals, but also that the program was covering for her.

The court grilled the program head who had to defend why she did not notify the court when Lindsay was a ‘no show’.

Lindsay made a speech sobbing that she did not think she was not complying but in the end the judge was not buying it. The judge really had no option but to throw the book at her as it seems obvious to everyone that Lindsay was thumbing her nose up at the judge, system and anyone else.

Family and friends are worried that Lindsay could do something before going to jail on July 20th. It is also noted that 90 days really means about 25 days in jail.

Prescription drugs (very strong ones) are currently being taken so how clean Lindsay can get while doctors continue to feed her pill desires is questionable.

Sometimes hard love and learning is required. Time both in jail and rehab seems to be the only course of action that may shake her up enough to fix herself up.
