Larry King’s divorce confirmed

Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick are heading for divorce court in what appears to be a long and bitter battle for custody and property. The broadcasting legend, 76, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The couple were married in 1997 and have two children, Chance, 11, and Cannon, 9 together. Shawn is King’s seventh wife, as he twice married and divorced former Playboy bunny Alene Akins.
Rumors are circulating that Shawn believes Larry is having an affair with her sister, Shannon Engemann . Shannon denies this and says that the gifts Shawn are discussing as evidence of an affair are nothing more than generous gestures by a man who is known to be giving to the entire family.
To prove the accusations were not true, King apparently transferred property into Shawn’s name over 2 years ago. In light of the divorce, King is asking that the arrangement be voided.
King is asking for joint custody of their sons while Shawn is asking for primary custody of the kids, spousal and child support, real estate including the Beverly Hills house she and King shared art and furnishings.
This should turn out to be a bitter and costly divorce.
