Gosslin’s Nanny Dies and Interest in the Couple Over

Word is now out on 2 fronts for Jon and Kate. Word is now out that their nanny has died while at the same time reports swirl that interest and endorsements are slowing down substantially.

Janet Weidenheimer, who was the volunteer caregiver for the eight Gosselin children, passed away last week. She was 72.

Known as “Nana Janet” to the kids, Weidenheimer appeared on the show in its first seasons and once rode a horse at the sextuplets’ third birthday party.

Kate Gosselin once called her a “pseudo-grandparent,” and the children thought she was “crazy and loud and fun.”

Other news regarding the two may be that interest in them may be finally waning. It is reported that attempts by both to continue having the cash still coming in are hitting roadblocks.

Kate has made proposals to several manufacturers for a line of eco-friendly toys, but she didn’t receive any bites. Same went for her idea for a “mom-friendly” line of beauty products for busy mothers.

Meanwhile, none of the rumoured reality shows Jon claimed he would be starring in have panned out, likely because networks think the Gosselin phenomenon is over.
